The Los Angeles Galaxy are set to pursue two ambitious acquisitions this offseason, with Gabriel Pec and Joseph Paintsil on their radar.

According to the , the Galaxy are set to smash their transfer record for Pec, who will cost a hefty sum. The 22-year-old is set to sign as a Young Designated Player after scoring eight goals and tallying four assists for Vasco da Gama in the Brazilian Serie A last campaign. The Brazilian isn't the only player they're looking at, though, with Genk and Ghana attacker Joseph Paintsil on their radar as well.

Belgian news outletreports that the MLS side are looking to bolster their attack with the signing of Paintsil, who is valued at $8m. The winger is currently with the Ghanaian national team and is set to compete in the upcoming AFCON tournament with the Black Stars. The Genk winger recently played in the USA, too, but for his country in their 4-0 loss to the United States men's national team last October.
