The German champions have long coveted Araujo and Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel considers the defender to be the ideal signing for his side. Tuchel even spoke with the defender on the phone recently to try to convince him to move to Germany, however it appears that Araujo wishes to stay at Barcelona – at least this winter. This will not stop Bayern from tempting Barcelona's resolve, with Florian Plettenberg reporting they are insistent that Araujo is their key target.
