It is safe to say that Newcastle fans are far from happy about Bruce’s comments and the lack of movement for a striker in the window.
There is a general sense of outrage about the fact that nobody has been brought in to fill that position, while one fan put special focus on Bowen.
Another has suggested that no striker “worth their salt” would even consider playing for Newcastle due to their style of play.

This stance comes while Jonjo Shelvey still stands as the club’s top scorer with five goals – Joelinton has just two.
There is also fury being aimed towards Bruce and Mike Ashley, with the general consensus seeming to be that the former is a “yes man”, while the latter won’t spend the money needed.
Newcastle fans have protested against Ashley’s ownership in the past and there is no indication that he is growing on them at all.
