A slight majority of the Birmingham fans that answered our recent poll want young goalkeeper Connal Trueman to be given a chance to start in the Second City derby on Sunday.
The 22-year-old Blues academy graduate started the first two Championship games of this season, conceding three goals in what were his first ever competitive appearances for the senior side.
However, since then the young Birmingham stopper has had to watch from the bench as 34-year-old Lee Camp occupies the starting spot in Garry Monk’s side.
The Playmaker FC squad decided to wind-up some unsuspecting Brazil fans at the Emirates on Saturday night. Watch the hilarious results in the video below…
In the past two games though the Blues have conceded six goals, and 58 per cent of the fans now think Camp should pay the price by making way for Trueman.
34-year-old Camp was signed on a free transfer from Cardiff in the summer, although the 6ft tall stopper spent the second-half of last season on loan with Sunderland, who were eventually relegated for the second time in two seasons.
Clearly, Birmingham fans don’t feel he should be their first-choice stopper. Check out the full results below.
