Paris Saint-Germain have been dealt another major injury blow as Desire Doue has been forced to withdraw from the France squad with a calf injury. Ousmane Dembele also had to come off at the start of the second half of Les Bleus' World Cup qualifying clash against Ukraine on Friday, after he picked up a hamstring injury which angered the French champions.

PSG have now been dealt a double injury blow during the international break, as after Dembele's injury, Doue has now picked up a knock and has withdrawn from the France squad. According to journalist , Doue has suffered a calf injury and will leave the France squad immediately to undergo further scans and examinations.

Incidentally, it was Doue who replaced Dembele in France's World Cup qualifier against Ukraine on Friday. The 20-year-old came on as a second-half substitute after the Ballon d'Or frontrunner picked up a hamstring injury. Les Bleus went on to win the clash 2-0.

Another report from claims that Dembele has been ruled out of action for six weeks and the French star will miss his club's Champions League opener against Atalanta and key Ligue 1 fixture against rivals Marseille. Doue, on the other hand, has been ruled out of action for the Atalanta game.
