Inter Miami's Lionel Messi and Manchester City's Rodri, both Ballon d'Or winners, attended Super Bowl LIX, enjoying America's biggest sporting event as the defending NFL champion Kansas City Chiefs took on the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday night in New Orleans.
The Eagles ultimately rolled to a dominant 40-22 victory to claim the Vince Lombardi trophy.
There had been speculation about whether or not Messi would attend, as Miami had a preseason friendly in Honduras less than 24 hours before the NFL championship game kickoff in New Orleans.
